Improvements
- Auth0 sign-in: Sign-in has moved to Auth0, with every user's identity securely verified on the server. This removes the shared secret key that was previously built into the JavaScript sent to every browser, which made it vulnerable.
- Clearer sign-in handling: Expired sessions now refresh automatically, accounts without access see a clear “No Access” page instead of a login loop, and a brief sign-in outage asks you to try again rather than logging you out.
- Rebuilt Country Impact Index dashboard: The Overview, Country Profile, Comparison and Classification pages have been rebuilt on a faster, more responsive front end.
- Project Ratings Dashboard layout: The Overview and Projects tabs have swapped positions and the year-on-year view has been removed for a cleaner read.
- Carbon Insight: Updated the backend process to improve API response time when multiple projects are selected.
Project Rating
- Redesigned report cover: The old glowing background effect has been removed, and the layout has been rebuilt so the wave shape, cover photo and coloured accent line all line up properly instead of drifting apart at the edges.
- Long project names: Very long project names no longer break the layout — the text automatically shrinks at two thresholds.
- Sample reports on Report Portal: Sample report URLs can now be updated from environment variables rather than changing them in the code.
Data & Coverage
- Gold Standard cancelled credits: Updated the registry data processing to handle cancelled credits separately from retirements.
- Carbon Insights technology categories: Updated the process to reduce the delay in Technology and Category mapping.
