Sprint Progress

The theme this sprint is a transition to a sleeker, more user-friendly platform — and, in particular, the move away from our legacy Reporting Hub. Dashboards are being reworked in React, app login has switched to Auth0, and design work is underway on a single master user experience that will unify every tab of the product. Around that core, the improved Project Rating report has been readied for production and the platform's assessment coverage keeps broadening. Highlights:

Dashboards reworked in React
The impact-index classification and comparison dashboards have been rebuilt in React — the latest step in retiring the legacy Reporting Hub in favour of a faster, more responsive frontend.
Auth0 login for the app
App sign-in has been switched over to Auth0, replacing the previous login flow with a simpler, more modern authentication experience.
Unified master UX across all tabs
Work has begun on a single master user experience for the whole product — one consistent look, navigation, and interaction model across every tab, replacing the patchwork inherited from the Reporting Hub era.
Project Rating report — redesign in production
The redesigned Project Rating report — the AI-generated report PDF — is now in production, with sanity checks and automation coverage extended to newly onboarded registries.
Ratings methodology v2.1
Implementation of version 2.1 of the ratings methodology is complete, and it will be verified with the Data Science team next sprint before it reaches production.
Taxonomy & assessment coverage
Technology and category presentation is now driven by a single source of truth, and the permanence and leakage evaluation pipelines have been extended to support carbon-dioxide-removal methodology families.
Carbon Insights polish
A large batch of data-quality tasks landed across Carbon Insights — cleaning up country, industry, and technology fields, filter behaviour, and character encoding — as part of the wider push for a more polished experience.
Stripe payments — self-service sign-up
With analysis complete, implementation of the Stripe payments integration is underway. Once live, users will be able to sign up for CarbonAI themselves via the website's Pricing page, which is being completed this sprint.
Validation framework — phase 2
The data validation framework is progressing through its second phase of rules, alongside build-out of a product engagement analytics dashboard.
Data & platform groundwork
Multi-sprint work continues on market-data brokerage and on modernising the build and deployment pipelines behind the platform.

Bugs

Two open bugs this week, both under investigation: a crash in Carbon Insights when multiple projects are selected together; and risk scores being assigned to projects without a valid country mapping.
